Medication Information

Before using any medication it is important to check-out  its common side-effect profile and determine whether it could adversely interact with any drugs you are already taking.

In general fibromyalgia patients are more likely to suffer from drug side effects (an effect of central sensitization) and in many cases it is worth starting with half the recommended dose, if your doctor agrees to such a trial.

However, it is also  important to give any new medication a "good try" before giving up  on it - unless the side-effects are severe or unacceptable.
